Who do we blame for the eviction of Eden?

                                              Genesis chapter 2&3
In chapters 2&3 in the book of Genesis, Adam and Eve are kicked out the garden of Eden because they listened to the snack and ate from the tree when God specifically told them not to eat from it. Because they ate from the tree, their punishment is that Adam has to work the land and for Eve she will have pain giving birth and so will every woman ever to live. And for the snake his punishment is that he would have to crawl on his belly and eat dust. I believe that it was Adam and Eve's fault themselves that they got kicked out. They were the ones that listened to the snake and ate from the tree. God told them that they could eat from every other tree except for that one and they had so many other choices to choose from but they specifically ate from the tree God told them not to eat from. I believe they do deserve that punishment and that it was their own fault because they had the free choice of doing what they want and they chose to do the wrong thing, eat from the tree that God told them not to eat from.
